Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours that contribute to emotional distress. CBT is based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected, and by altering negative thoughts, individuals can improve their mood and behaviour.
