You can book an appointment<\/a> yourself \u2013 no referral is needed. However, if you wish to claim rebates through Medicare you will need to make an appointment with your general practitioner, psychiatrist or paediatrician for a referral to a psychologist. Medicare will not accept your claim unless you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan from a general practitioner or have the relevant referral information from a psychiatrist or paediatrician. <\/span><\/p>\n

We charge the full appointment fee for non-attendance or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (50% of the appointment fee with less than 48 hours notice), which will be automatically deducted from the credit\/debit card entered at registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We see patients of all ages, though clients under the age of 18 will require\u00a0parental\/ guardian consent at the time of booking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Our standard 50-minute therapy fees vary based on the service provided. Psychology\/neuropsychology consultation fee is $150-330, speech therapy and occupational therapy are both $194. Some clients will be eligible to claim a portion\/all their consultation fees directly from Medicare or their private health insurance (i.e. OSHC). Back On Track Psychology does not provide bulk billing service due to its limited capacity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Psychology\/Occupational Therapy\/Speech Therapy services are rebateable provided you have an appropriate referral or an appropriate ancillary cover.<\/p>\n

Available Medicare rebate services can be found below (rebate is generally between $60.35 for OT and Speech, $96.65 \u2013 $141.85 for psychologist).<\/p>\n

If you are covered by private insurance, please check your exact coverage with them. Feel free to discuss these items with your healthcare professional.<\/p>\n

M3 \u2013 Chronic Disease Management (previously known as Enhanced Primary Care [EPC])<\/strong><\/p>\n

For Medicare benefits to be payable, the patient must be referred to an eligible allied health professional by their GP or medical practitioner using a referral form that has been issued by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care or a form that contains all the components of this form.<\/p>\n

Medicare benefits are available for up to 5 allied health services per patient per calendar year if clinically indicated and each service meets all of the item requirements.<\/p>\n

Under this category, you are eligible for up to a $60.35 rebate.<\/p>\n

M7 \u2013 Focused Psychological Strategies (also known as Mental Health Care Plan)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 individual mental health services in a calendar year. Patient will require a referral by a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician who is managing the patient under a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan. Patient received 6 therapy sessions from initial referral, and another 4 therapy sessions through a follow-up referral.<\/p>\n

Patients will also be eligible to claim up to 10 separate services within a calendar year for group therapy services. These group services are separate from the individual services and do not count towards the individual services per calendar year maximum associated with those items.<\/p>\n

Under this category, you are eligible for a rebate between $96.65 \u2013 $141.85.<\/p>\n

M10 \u2013 Complex neurodevelopmental disorder and disability services (previously known as Helping Children with Autism [HCWA]) <\/strong><\/p>\n

A maximum of 8 assessment services can be claimed per patient per lifetime. Each referral is for 4 assessment services. Up to 4 of these services may be provided to the same patient on the same day.<\/p>\n

A maximum of 20 treatment services can be claimed per patient per lifetime. Each referral is for 10 treatment services.<\/p>\n

Where a patient requires more than 4 assessment services (or 10 treatment services) from the same eligible allied health provider, review and agreement is required by the referring medical practitioner before further Medicare eligible services can be claimed.<\/p>\n

A referral from a psychiatrist or paediatrician is required. The patient must be under 25 years of age.<\/p>\n

Under this category, you are eligible for between $85.20 \u2013 96.65 rebate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

We understand that cancellations are sometimes necessary, but we do require 48 hours notice. This allows someone on what could be a long waiting list to fill your appointment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We understand that sometimes you might be running late to your appointment. Significant reduction in the session length might result in a poor service experience. To ensure service quality, the session will be automatically cancelled if the client is more than 15 minutes late. Please note that the cancellation policy applies.<\/p>\n

This could normally be resolved by refreshing the page. If dropouts persist, the clinician will contact you by phone to discuss options for either continuing the assessment over the phone or arranging to reschedule. The clinician will problem-solve with you to find a suitable solution for that situation.
